The company also represents a wide range of imported quality fabrics such as Andrew Martin, Swaffer UK, Simta Italy, Futura Leathers, Osborne & Little, Robert Allen, Fabricut USA and special Silicone Leathers. Each with its individual characteristic to cater to the residential and commercial clients. These fabrics are used in luxury homes, hotel projects and prestigous commercial projects.
5-axis CNC machinery and laser cutting machines are what the company also use to complement their furniture crafting capabilities. Danovel is the first and only upholstery company who uses these advanced technologies in Singapore for their sofa production.
This year is the company’s 63rd anniversary and the company will be expanding rapidly while rooting deep in its heritage beginnings. The two retail outlets and a factory in Singapore provides a stable infrastructure for growth. Furniture Sales Designer Responsibilities:
- Serving walk-in clients for customised furniture and upholstery
- Provide professional advice on colour coordination and choice of fabrics/materials and conceptual furniture designs
- Develop conceptual design to our corporate clients
- Design and provide presentations to corporate clients
- Design documentation and preparing material boardsPreparation of proposals, mood boards and quotations
- Prepare detailed drawings for furniture design construction
- Attend site meetings, appointments, and follow through in project management
- Attend client’s briefing/ Site measurement
- Responsible for achieving monthly sales targets
- Handle retail responsibilities such as housekeeping of store and visual merchandising, follow up of online and offline enquires
- To propose our products to Developers, Architects, Designers, etc for their projects
- To increase our market share in the residential & corporate sales market.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design / Furniture Design.
- Proficient in relevant design software Sketchup, AutoCAD, 3D Max to produce product design drawings
- Strong creativity and design capabilities, with a keen eye for details
- Knowledge of furniture, materials, colour selections, and specifications
- Excellent communcation skills to liaise with clients and production team effectively
- Independent and able to multitask and to monitor concurrent projects from start to finish.
- Possess excellent design capabilities, a flair for creativity and a positive attitude
- Possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Advantage if candidate has a network of contacts with developers, architects, designers, and contractors.

- Need to be willing to work weekends
- Working Hours: Mon - Sat 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
- Working Hours: Sun 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
