Job Description
- To be responsible for managing F&B operations at all outlets as well as banquet sales and delivering an excellent members and guests’ experience.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, monitor and control food, beverage and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage department.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of F&B strategic plans and budgets.
- Guide monthly profit and loss (P&L) meetings to assess financial performance, identify gaps, assess competitor revenue and develop new strategies to increase revenue where opportunities exist.
- Responsible for the conceptual and operational design of outlets.
- Work closely with MARCOM for impactful promotions and marketing activities as to enhance outlets’ position and to increase their revenues
- Drive high levels of member’s satisfaction through visible leadership and hands on interaction with colleagues and members.
- Monitor weekly activities of F&B sales and ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information within the Club to assist in effectively achieving performance objectives.
- Set key performance targets for all F&B Outlet Managers to achieve and working with them to achieve the set targets
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Review menus with Chef for latest trend and ensure quality food, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Identify members’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Provide appropriate service recovery to members' complaints. To follow up and to establish correct procedures to prevent future recurrence
- Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented employees
- Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
- Ensure colleagues are properly trained on quality and service standards and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions.
- Recommend and initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
- Recruit, evaluate, and select entertainment for food and beverage outlets and events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers relating to F&B operations.
- Work with the culinary and hygiene team to ensure levels of cleanliness and hygiene are in accordance with local laws and standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Food entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making skills.
- Strong business acumen and results-driven
- Strong analytical skills to understand and respond to key business performance indicators and competitive trends
- A good leader with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to uphold good service standards at all times
