What a Director, Issuers solutioning and Alias Commercialization does at Visa:

Building a strong Visa Direct card network ecosystem with instant payment capability is the foundation in accommodating launch of new use cases.  However, instant payments between accounts can be hindered by two parties needing to share account information with each other. The usage of a proxy, also known as an alias, reduces transaction friction for users. An alias generally refers to a mobile number or email address used for sending or receiving payments.

As a Director of Issuers solutioning and Alias Commercialization, you will be a leader who understands the strategic, commercial, and technical considerations to accelerate Visa Direct card network acceptance and adoption of Alias payments across Asia Pacific. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders in AP markets, regional hub and global product owners to motivate, influence and provide advice or direction.  

Your main accountabilities will include:

  • Develop and own go-to market strategy for Aliasing which includes building Issuers readiness and driving commercial success in launching alias payments. 
  • Work with regional stakeholders, global product owners and cross functional teams (e.g. sales and business development, in-market products, risk, compliance, client services) to execute against this strategy and achieve the revenue target.
  • Identify and provide key insights and trends to our client facing stakeholders with presentation materials, case studies, best practice guides, webinars and trainings.
  • Assess market requirements against strategic drivers and recommend appropriate technical, commercial investment, or strategic solutions to solve complex problems or to leverage opportunities.
  • Provide direction on commercial objectives and outcomes including agreements, rules and guides, pricing, and exceptions.
  • Actively engage and work with issuers, clients and partners in markets, promoting the product value proposition, UI/UX, functionality and integration requirements, adjusting approach as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development team to build aliasing pipelines and deployment plans in key priority markets, including determining high potential client targets to deliver revenue objectives.
  • Senior management updates and reporting providing overall status including remediation and escalations.

As a senior member of the team, you will play an integral role in providing the leadership in developing the strategy, drive adoption and deployment of Alias and Issuers’ solutions across Asia Pacific.
