Job Title: Orbital Welder
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble and perform welding processes.
- Experienced in TIG, MIG, and using simple measuring equipment such as vernier caliper, and gauge.
- Experienced in Swagelok and AMI Orbital Machine.
- Monitor welding performance and quality issues.
- Troubleshoot welding-related problems.
- Able to read mechanical drawings.
- Experience in working with Carbon Steel / Stainless Steel / UHP Piping (SS316L).
- Qualified in basic SMAW / GTAW / orbital welding process.
- Records inspection and test results and prepares and submits reports to welding engineering personnel.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or semiconductor industry will be a plus.
Qualifications / Skills:
- NTC3 / NTC2 / ITC or Diploma.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Gas systems.
- Able to read and understand layout, ISO, BIM drawings & piping instructions.
- Attentive to safety alerts and ensure safety on the site projects.
- Ability to receive and follow instructions from internal or external customers, and communicate with co-workers.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (Orbital, TIG, MMA, etc).
- Professional certification (for example: a Swagelok / AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.
Salary: SGD 3500 to SGD 4500 Monthly.
