Client is an MNC Reinsurance Company.
Responsibilities:
- Support existing processes including but not limited to troubleshooting, maintenance and re-development for optimization of database system.
- Maintain and improve existing group business quotation tools with Excel and VBA
- Design, implement, and continuously expand data acquisition by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities
- Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform the data in a way that's geared towards the needs of end users
- Maintain and improve already existing processes and MSSQL scripts
- Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable
- Investigate data to identify potential issues, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions
- Group quotation tool: Monitor and updated “Quotes Log” and prepare conversion ratio reporting
- Review and maintain the tool
- Assist in group product refresh strategies to grow the business as well as profitability
Requirements:
- Possess a degree / diploma with 2-3 years of Data Analytics or related experience
- Familiar and competent in Excel / VBA / SQL is mandatory
- Prior exposure or experience in Banking Finance or Insurance industry is a plus but not a must
- Detail oriented with strong analytical problem solving
- Flexibility to change in timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
