Job Description:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Assist with the preparation of financial audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
