Head of Marketing

Prism Tech Private Limited

About the role:

Our fast-growing consumer electronics company is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead our development of all marketing plans. The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic thinker who has a passion for optimizing campaigns and mentoring a team. This person will be responsible for driving our performance marketing strategy to reach out to consumers and achieve our marketing goals.

This role will be reporting to the Managing Director and be required to execute day-to-day Marketing operations activities and communications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ad Strategy & Operations

  • Optimize ad campaigns and spending across different platform and traffic sources: Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok and marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon)
  • Work with Creative and Content Teams to create, iterate and identifying winning creative angles and assets
  • Review and iterate on ad copy to optimize ad performance

Manage website and conversation rate optimization

  • Suggest UI improvement and perform A/B testing
  • Search engine optimization

Strategic partnerships: Build and maintain relationship, negotiate on campaign terms

  • OTT partnerships: meWatch, iQIYI, Viu, Disney
  • BNPL partnerships: Grab, Atome, Pace
  • Marketplaces: Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, TikTok

CRM Marketing

  • Email, SMS, WhatsApp customer lifecycle marketing
  • App push notification (marketplace app & app)

Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards to track performance ads, campaigns, partnership and etc

Overall Strategy: Work closely with Managing Director and Country Director(s) to develop and execute on strategies relating to

  • Product launches
  • Product positioning
  • Pricing & promotions
  • Branding
  • Partnerships
  • Distribution: Online vs Offline Channels

External Communications

  • Oversee public relations strategy
  • Oversee content strategy
  • Oversee community engagement strategy including influencer relations

Team Management & Leadership

  • Recruit & build a high-performance team
  • Motivate, train, encourage knowledge sharing amongst team members

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of marketers
  • Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all marketing activities, result and ROI
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in analyzing data and using insights to optimize campaigns
  • Proficient in using ad platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external partners
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively identify optimization tactics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A keen eye for creative and media assets
  • Working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organization and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts.
