Responsibilities
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of comprehensive proposals for water treatment projects, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements, technical specifications, and deadlines.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in the design, analysis, and optimization of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-effective engineering solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and innovative solutions in water treatment processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (Process & Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation, QC, etc) to gather technical responses as part of the bid clarification by clients.
- Proposal Management: Manage proposal timelines, resources, and schedules to ensure timely and successful submission of proposals.
- Proposal Review: Edit or review proposal / technical clarification content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project specifications.
- Costing Review: Review costing prepared to ensure accuracy and reliability of the estimation while protecting the minimum profit margin expected.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance to proposal engineers, offering technical advice, support, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experiences within the water treatment or environmental engineering industry.
- Proven experience in process design and proposal management within the water treatment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of various water treatment technologies and process engineering principles preferably for oil & gas industry.
- Excellent people management skill with the ability to manage a team of proposal engineers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
