Associate Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description:
Develop and drive effective IT security compliance programs involving activities such as reviewing and developing security policies, processes/procedures, and guidelines. To ensure compliance with policies and to conduct security reviews and audits, penetration tests, security assessment and cyber security incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct information security management reviews and information security management system (ISMS) assessments
- Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned.
- To conduct security risk management exercises.
- To conduct information security awareness training.
- Point of contact to assist and advise customers for ICT security-related matters.
- Participate in the creation, review, and update of information security policies.
- Provide technical advice, recommendations, and consultancy services.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Prefer at least 2 years of hands-on experience in consulting or other relevant cybersecurity responsibilities. (Motivated fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for entry positions.)
- Possess one or more IT Security Certifications (e.g. OSCP, CREST, CISSP, CEH, CISM)
- Experienced in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management
- Ability to align information security policies with business requirements
- Project management skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical IT security deliverables
- Flair for translating information security requirements into IT security controls and measures
- Able to work independently, meticulous in work and a team player.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
