The position involves offering support to the sales team in Singapore and distributors throughout the ASEAN & South Asia region for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) related sales and product lines. This encompasses organizing regular sales training sessions to ensure that the sales staff is well-versed in the products, markets, and applications. The primary objective is to broaden HPLC sales in the ASEAN & South Asia market by thoroughly assessing market potential and identifying expansion opportunities in each region. Another crucial responsibility is to strategically plan promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team. Furthermore, active participation in various technological seminars and conferences is necessary, where the individual will showcase advanced applications and solutions in the field of HPLC.
skills and experience required
Educational qualifications for this role include holding a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biological Science, or a related field with equivalent qualifications. Proficiency in Excel for reporting purposes would be advantageous. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of HPLC technologies and applications, along with a keen insight into the business aspects to fortify market positioning. Additionally, a good grasp of HPLC workflows, customer needs, and challenges in both target and emerging markets is essential. Fluency in English and excellent communication skills are prerequisites for effective interaction with customers, partners, and internal team members.
