What a Manufacturing Liaison Engineer does at HP:
- Manage line KPI of ZEN MPa (Celestica/Foxconn of Malaysia/Singapore) contracted to manufacture Nesta, Magnus and Nocturne Ink Supplies.
- Design, manage and improve MPa’s factory performance for quality, yield and throughput.
- Identify and execute DFM/VE (Design for Manufacturing & Value Engineering) projects to simplify process step, save manufacturing cost and reduce manufacturing carbon footprint.
- Work in close partnership with Product Engineering team and Quality team to review and improve product quality & reliability.
- Build up and maintain strong working relationship and engineering foundation with MPa and HPI teams.
- 20% of time face-face collaboration with Malaysia MPa is expected.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering related discipline for Specialist (minimum 3 years of relevant ISIO experience), Intermediate and Entry candidates.
- Diploma in Engineering with 3 years of relevant ISIO Engineering experience, for Entry Engineer position.
- Excellent inter-personal relationship and communication skill.
- Effective project planning, execution and problem solving capability.
- Sound knowledge in Applied Statistical methodologies & data query.
- Strong in technical leadership and capabilities coaching to HP team member and MPa.
- SMART tool development and enabling capability at MPa and HP Singapore control tower headquarter. (Additive Manufacturing, Data Visualization / Analytic, IoT and Robotics).
- Possess strong teamwork to collaborate at cross site/function/company team.
- Knowhow in simplifying complexities to drive for efficiency.
- Drive as a green and sustainability ambassador.
