As an ACMV Engineer, you will be the Overall-In-Charge in Air Conditioning Maintenance Ventilation system at a hospital site. Reporting to the facilities manager, you will be a key member of the facilities team in providing facilities management service to our client.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that the daily AC thermal comfort is within the acceptable limit.
- Schedule maintenance activities for ACMV systems, keeping track of maintenance works with follow up actions for systems such as chillers, AHU, FCU, fire protection, gas systems etc.
- Ensure all maintenance works are carried out according to prescribed checklist and schedule.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of standby vendors for cases of emergencies, i.e. Chiller system failure.
- Improving the efficiency of the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
- To provide excellent service to client expectations.
- To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
- Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
- Conduct regular inspection of existing aircon system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
- To ensure all works carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.
- Any other tasks, when required by Facilities Manager.
Requirement
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of relevant FM experience
- Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults
- A good team leader
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Commitment to be recalled back to site for emergencies
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour
