Role: As an Account Executive in the FMCG ice cream category, you will receive opportunities to build your account management and managerial skills from day one. You will be in charge of maintaining and growing long-term relationships with existing clients, as well as winning new clients and projects. Successful candidates will have the natural ability to build rapport and relationships, while always remaining client focused, with strong knowledge of our products and services. You will have the opportunity to learn and deepen your knowledge of account management and business development, with support from your manager and senior management, through formal training and on-the-job learning.
Responsibilities:
- Nurturing client relationships to build meaningful relationships based on trust and respect. This may include developing rapport with clients to foster long-term client satisfaction, and resolving conflicts that may occur between clients and the company, whilst maintaining trust and avoiding the loss of business in the midst of any difficulties
- Customer acquisition, from identifying opportunities, to prospecting and lead generation, through to purchase and retention
- Expanding contracts or sales with existing clients by understanding your client’s needs and proposing relevant, thoughtful solutions
- Maintaining expert knowledge of the company’s products and services, and a good understanding of the company’s brand DNA
- Managing communications between your client and the company’s internal teams
- Ensuring each client receives high quality customer service
- Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfilment
- Collecting and analysing sales data, consumer behaviour and other relevant market insights for reporting to management
- Compiling reports on account performance, progress, goals and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders
- Identifying industry trends to better serve clients
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, commerce or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in related role
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A genuine interest in our company mission and values
- Excellent relationship building, listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit
- High levels of organizational skills
- Experience in ice cream or frozen desserts is a plus
