Summary: You'll assist pharmacists to ensure safe and timely delivery of medicines. You'll help supervise pharmacy staff, coordinate tasks, and improve processes. Your main duties include providing patient service, processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean workspace.
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations
- Serve patients courteously
- Handle medication orders for both inpatients and outpatients
- Prepare and label medications as per guidelines
- Manage billing tasks
- Keep work area ready for daily operations
- Maintain pharmacy and storage areas' cleanliness
- Participate in quality improvement projects
Inventory Management
- Organize and stock medicines following storage guidelines
- Replenish ward stock
- Receive goods accurately
- Repackage medicines when needed
- Conduct routine stock checks as per procedures
Dispensing
- Dispense medicines following guidelines
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
- Completed Basic Skill Test or Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
Other information:
- Working hours: 8am to 8pm, with 1.5 hours break each day
- No. of working days: 7 days in 2 weeks
- Weekends and public holidays are considered as working days, OFF days are the rostered rest days.
- Staff would be required to do on-call standby ~2 times a month.
