Job Scope:
Working in the Memorial Facilities and Planning Division within the Public Health Services and Capabilities Group, you will assist the section to provide after-death care services at government cemetery. The workman may be assigned to assist in either the traditional soil burial or the Crypt Burial System burials.
1. Soil Burial
- Manual digging of burial plot when necessary
- Prepare grave plot for burial
- Backfill burial plot after burial
2. Crypt Burial System Burial
- Assist in opening of burial crypt covers
- Signal and direct the lifting machine operator during the lifting operation
- Prepare grave plot for burial
- Backfill burial plot after burial
Job Requirements:
- Fully vaccinated (more than 14 days after completing vaccination regimen of 2 doses and booster shot)
- Completed primary education level (i.e. Primary 6)
- Able to handle digging tools
- Able to speak and understand simple English
- Willing to work in after-death care service environment
- Able and willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work independently as well as in teams

Contract Duration: 6-months
Salary: $10 - $11/hour
