Responsibilities:
Bring energy into a classroom and teach in a manner that is dynamic and engaging
Contribute in the creating and developing of classroom materials
Be constantly connected with what is happening in the world at large
Create a safe space for students to learn, question and even fail so that they can grow
Be available to students who seek both formative and summative feedback and to provide it in constructive ways
Develop trust and connection with both students and parents
Be actively involved in team briefings, working and ideating meetings that occur on a weekly basis
Participate in activities and events that contribute to the general growth of the company
What you need to have:
- Intellectual and academic knowledge in a teaching subject (most preferably a degree from an institute of higher learning)
- Ongoing curiosity about your areas of interests
- Presence and command in a classroom
- The ability to see yourself as part of larger entity
- A flexible understanding of a work week because we will need you to work on both weekends
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
