We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Modern Trade Department in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving sales growth, and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the modern trade sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the modern trade segment.
- Identify and prospect potential clients within modern trade channels including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the modern trade sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the management team.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with modern trade partners.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Diploma’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 2 years in a sales role within the food industry, specifically in modern trade channels.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in dealing with supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains.
- Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
