JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Marine services on the platform. Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship with Service Providers within the assigned region.
Manage a team to source and identify Service Providers (including Classification and Flag State requirement, Electrical and Mechanical Services, Inspections and Survey, Calibration and Certification, Port Agency Services). Engage Service Providers onboard the e-commerce platform, negotiating with Service Providers on pricing and contractual terms for Marine Services products.
Monitor fulfillment of orders from Client and service progress is on schedule with minimal disruption and demurrage.
Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that the supply chain processes are in order. Responsible for accounts receivable as scheduled.
Analyzing markets demands basis feedback and transactions to develop products and align to the industry trends. Ensure all activities that are carried out comply with the company’s regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong negotiation skills with experience in communications and customer relations are a necessity.
Computer literate, Open-minded, and Result Oriented.
Enjoy working directly with Clients/ Service Providers.
Degree in Maritime, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, or other relevant disciplines will be considered.
Chief Engineer experience with Carrier-owned container (COC 1).
8 years and above experience in the Marine or relevant industry.
5 years and above in a management position.
