Responsibilities
We’re looking for a driven and client-focused Business Development Managerto develop business opportunities and successfully drive sales growth in the assigned vertical.
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline, by performing sales and account management activities;
- Prospect to new and existing accounts, conducting compelling presentations and pitches;
- Engage internal stakeholders as necessary when clinching and negotiating large-scale projects;
- Identify opportunities and strategies based on strong product and client knowledge;
- Strategize and create opportunities and events to for consulting missions to drive brand awareness;
- Achieve and exceed targeted business revenues;
- Work closely with pre- and post-sales teams to deliver impactful solutions to clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary education in any discipline;
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in a sales development or key account management role;
- Proven track record in sales of technology solutions, to large enterprise or public sector clients;
- Strong results-orientation, discipline and personal drive;
- Professionalism and tact;
- Ability to build rapport with appropriate C-level, senior or technical decision-makers;
- Excellent communication skills, including, writing, presentation and negotiation skills;
- Innovative and collaborative mindset.
