In this role, you will be an important part of the Treasury Operations Team. You will be heavily involved in leading the agent funding and liquidity management process. In addition, you will execute FX swaps and assist with the trade confirmation process. You will also support the management of bank relationships within the region and will assist the Treasury Manager with supporting the leadership and business teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash management responsibilities including the monitoring of bank balances, funding of bank accounts and the sweeping of any excess liquidity.
- Process all agent funding payments in a timely manner.
- Execute FX swaps and provide confirmation of FX transactions.
- Follow and maintain all Treasury policies and controls.
- Train and provide leadership to other Treasury personnel.
- Participate in Treasury projects and support all Western Union business initiatives.
- Able to solve problems and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Role Requirements:
Qualifications & Work Experience:
- To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2-5 finance and/or treasury experience in a corporate Treasury Team or Banking environment.
- You will need strong knowledge of finance modelling & concepts.
Skills, Education & Competencies:
- Working knowledge and experience with global payment processing.
- Able to work well within urgent timelines.
- Prior Corporate Cash Management, Treasury Operations or Banking experience.
- knowledgeable on different tools which include Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, ACH & general payment clearing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Undergraduate degree – business or related major.
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation preferred but not required.
