The Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic ESG team. This role involves developing and implementing ESG models, focusing on net zero models, among other applications. The ideal candidate shall be strong in Data Sciences with some knowledge in ESG domain.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the ESG business teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and challenges in the ESG landscape.
· Design, develop, and implement ESG models and algorithms to analyze and interpret ESG data.
· Engage in data preprocessing: cleansing, structuring, and integrating diverse data sources to create a unified and usable dataset.
· Employ a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and data mining techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
· Collaborate with data/software engineering teams to integrate ESG models into production systems.
· Maintain awareness of latest advancements in the field of data science and ESG to ensure our models remain robust and effective.
· Communicate complex data findings in a clear and effective manner to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

· Responsible for developing some ESG-related Machine Learning models
Risk Management
· The ability to interpret the Machine Learning models, identify key issues and put in place appropriate model controls and measures.

· identify key Responsible AI related to the models developed
Regulatory & Business Conduct
· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate
· 3+ years of experience in Data Science
· Strong programming skills in particularly - Python, SQL are required
· Data science experience ideally in ESG domain
· Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Computing engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

· Fresh graduates (or above) with excellent skills in data analytics, programming, Machine learning framework and cloud are also welcome to apply
