We are looking for a Company Driver to join our team on a full-time basic. You will be responsible for driving the workers to their destinations in a safe and timely manner. You will be transporting goods and materials.
You should be well-versed with the traffic rules and regulations. You should be able to take alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic or to reach the destination faster. Apart from driving, you should conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure it is in working order
As a Company Driver, you should be well-groomed and report duty on time with an approachable personality. You should be able to address any client inquiries in a professional manner.
Core responsibilities
- Transporting workers and products to the destination point
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, materials and etc
- Opting to a shorter or alternate route in case of traffic congestion
- Parking the vehicle properly
- Regularly washing and cleaning the vehicle
- Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks
- Scheduling vehicle service appointments
- Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage
- Ensuring the safety of staff members and goods during the journey
- Addressing any client queries related to the journey
- Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle
- Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts
- Reporting to work on time and in company uniform.
Job specifications
- Minimum NITEC
- Holding a valid driver’s license
- Having a clean driving and medical record
- Knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
- Familiarity GPS tools and Google Maps
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent driving skills and road sense
- Ability to work for long hours when required
- Well groomed and highly motivated individual
- Good time management skills
- Ability to offer excellent customer service
