Job Description:
- Performing computer simulations-based analysis using commercial FEA software, Autodesk Moldflow, CFD software or other similar analysis tools
- Developing and coordinating experiments to validate computational models
- Refine simulation models to improve accuracy of predictions. This will involve activities such as refining model inputs (e.g. materials data, machining data), grid sensitivity studies, exploring efficacy of different solvers, etc

- Participating in technical problem-solving activities with the wider team for issues within your area of expertise
- Contributing improvements to manufacturing processes
- Creating new IPs in Singapore in area of expertise
- Creating clear technical reports and able to present to others within the cross-functional team
- Have your own work plan and taking the responsibility for project delivery
- Willing to support overseas process development for short-term assignments

Fluid Dynamics
a. Laser welding simulation, propose optimisation parameters
b. Glue dispensing, gas flow control and injection molding simulation
c. Solidification process modelling
d. Find suitable material for product manufacturing
Product structure integrity
a. Mechanical mechanism design
b. Material machining
c. Material mechanics
d. FEA
Material Dynamics
a. Metal cutting simulation, residual stress evaluation
b. Metal forming simulation, evaluate possible process flaw
c. New material dynamical model building
d. Importing experimental parameters and data fitting
Electronic communication
a. Evaluate product dimension effect on antenna performance
b. Optimise product structure and communication performance
c. Material assessment, experimental data import and fitting
Numerical analysis and model developing
a. Numerical model building, tuning and optimising
b. Physics/chemistry’s equation based modelling for special manufacturing process
c. Database build up, experiment data cleaning and fitting with proper model
d. Discrepancies elimination, methods development
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor, Master or PhD‘s Major in relevant Engineering field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant industry
- Experience in using software such as CFD software, Moldex 3D, Autodesk Moldflow or similar software.
- Candidate must be willing to travel for short-term assignments when necessary
- Possess knowledge in the Specialized areas as stated above will be of highly advantaged
