Job Role Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for leading, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) infrastructure, governance and compliance processes and related frameworks in the organization. He/She carries out audits to assess compliance with regulations, guidelines and operating procedures.
He serves as the organization’s expert on Quality Assurance (QA) matters and provides consultation to stakeholders to interpret quality-related regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deploy quality assurance policies, processes and procedures.
- Formulate and update organizational quality strategies according to legal and client requirements.
- Integrate quality policies, processes and requirements to structure quality management systems.
- Advise improvements in testing and commissioning procedures and processes.
- Initiate external compliance audits.
- Lead external audits with regulators, classification societies, service providers and customers.
- Formulate internal audit scope and criteria in accordance with internal and external QA and QMS requirements.
- Oversee closure of quality compliance issues.
- Manage people and organizational function.
- Develop strategies for resource planning and utilization.
- Participate in negotiations with relevant key internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor employees’ understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory procedures.

Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in business management or any related course.
- With strong background in ISO: 9001-2015 QMS.
- At least 4 years of working experience in the related field.
