Job Responsibility
- Skilled in trade execution of OTC interest rate products (IRS, asset swaps, inflation) and bonds.
- Ability to handle multiple RFQ/orders, across multiple IRS markets at once on a fast-paced interest rates desk
- Co-ordination and handover of client orders and interest
- Development, enhancement and maintenance of extra liquidity in our traded products
- Development, enhancement and maintenance of relationships with rate sales and IRS market-makers in the Asia region
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Economics or similar disciplines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (high level of BBG chat interaction)
- Track record of improving process efficiency and operational risk via automation and/or reconciliation
- 3y+ experience in interest rates swaps on execution desk at hedge fund
- Strong relationships with current rate sales and IRS market-makers in the Asia region
- Desire to learn and grow within a start-up business environment (wear many hats)
