- Performance Tuning: Monitor and fine-tune storage systems to ensure optimal performance, capacity utilization, and reliability.
- Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects, including data replication and storage consolidation, while minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve EMC storage-related issues, working closely with clients and support teams to ensure rapid problem resolution.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for data storage and protection.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in IT storage management
- Proven experience in designing and implementing EMC storage solutions, including NetApp storage, or Brocade switch.
- Proficiency in EMC storage management tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of SAN and NAS protocols, including Dell PMAX, Hitachi VSP, NetApp (7-mode and CDOT), Hitachi NAS.
