Job Description
The Cyber Ops person will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the clients security tools, including Carbon Black, Trend Micro, and Tenable. This includes ensuring that the tools are up-to-date, configured properly, and functioning effectively. The Cyber ops person will also works with other teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clients security tools, including Carbon Black, Trend Micro,
and Tenable.
2. Provide regular reporting for tools effectiveness and risk identified.
3. Monitor security tool alerts and take appropriate action to remediate security risks.
4. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on security tools.
5. Upgrade and patching of security tools.
6. Document security tool configurations and procedures.
7. Work with other teams to integrate security tools into the overall security posture.
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
9. Implement security tool changes as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in operating one or more security tools.
3. Experience with one or more tools like Carbon Black, Trend Micro, and Tenable.
4. Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
