Engagement Manager

Ipsos Pte. Ltd.

OVERVIEW

Oversees and makes decisions on the operational aspects of the business, as well as engages client organisations at the senior level – winning, developing and supporting key accounts.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development and Selling

  • Performs business development with new clients
  • Conducts sales and acquire projects
  • Conducts S3 credentials presentation to clients
  • Provides advice / propositions on project focus to potential clients
  • Prepares proposals for clients and conduct proposal presentation
  • Performs client management
  • Contributes articles for PR purposes

Project Management

  • Manages large-scale projects (fee, timeframe, resources, team members, etc.) when necessary
  • Signs off and endorses project deliverables
  • Provides expert consultancy advice and recommendations in projects
  • Provides client liaison and client management
  • Assumes quality management role and review final reports
  • Conducts final presentation to clients

Team Management

  • Manages the local S3 office
  • Oversees workload allocation of the team
  • Oversees team performance
  • Provides team development and training

Strategic Insight:

Brings strategic and executive acumen into discussions. Defines strong inferences for clients’ issues and landscapes; sets innovative analysis; galvanises clients into actionable solutions for growth and change strategies.


Delivering Results:

Ensures the smooth running of projects, driving outputs and motivating team’s progress toward the right direction. Makes decisions on some of the more complex organisational issues such as payment schedules and budgetary issues with clients. Contributes to the achievement of the team’s P&L targets.


Leading and Managing:

Leads and supervises multi-scaled project sizes whilst managing complex project schedules and processes. Guides team with a strong vision and supports them with clear objectives. Be responsible for the sustainability and growth strategy of the team.


Building Client Relations:

Takes on a greater role in client development with senior levels. Cultivates current client relations into trusted relationships; grows them into business opportunities; and develops new client relationships. Deepens senior client relations with expertise in specific business areas and change strategies.


Knowledge and Market Capability:

Be the thought leader guiding the team’s knowledge and work streams. Be a recognised expert in one or more industry segments.


KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Strong management skills
  • Proven track record in selling, sales and customer relation management
  • Specific or cross industry knowledge
  • In-depth know-how on business / marketing consultancy, research and analysis
  • Experience in managing large-scale and multi-countries consulting or research projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 or more years of prior business experience within a similar consulting capacity, or as an industry professional with specific sector knowledge.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from renowned universities. An MBA, Masters degree or industry certifications in related fields will be advantageous.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
