JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team of distribution assistants (DA) and tow truck drivers to ensure timely movement of trolleys, eg diet trolleys from central kitchen to wards
- Plans team schedules, daily duties and weekly roster for smooth operation. Manages punch cards, time sheets and overtime claims
- Ensures supervision, grooming, motivation, discipline and training to the team
- Maintains communication workflow for seamless dissemination of information
- Engages & address staff queries, issues and disputes
- Manages a fleet of tow tractors and report faults
- Prepares daily operations and manpower reports
- Builds strong relationship with client and provides updates with regard to their feedback
- Interviews and selects suitable job seekers for the DA positions
- Trains new hires and prepares Competency Assessment for New DAs and Tow Truck Drivers
- Evaluates staff performance and prepares annual appraisal
- Monitors all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and practices, reports incidents to supervisor immediately whenever an incident happens, conducts investigation on such matters, and drafts incident report
- Responds to hospital or civil emergency activations (eg. call tree, hospital decontamination station, Kingfisher activation, etc) while on duty or/and off duty (standby)
- Undertakes any other duties/ activities/ projects, etc. as and when instructed by the supervisor or management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum ITE Cert or Diploma in any field
- At least 1 years(s) of supervisory experience in the logistic sector is required for this position
- Basic IT knowledge is required to handle computer work
- Willing to work at Singapore General Hospital
- Working Days: 6 days a week. Rotating Rest Day
- Working hour 6.45am-3.15pm (morning shift) and 1.45pm-9.15pm (afternoon shift)
- Able to work overtime (when required)
