PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with AM sites leaders and other functional stakeholders to establish AMVS priorities to meet committed timelines. Interface with AM sites leadership and other key leadership to establish and communicate program priorities, status, and needs.
- Facilitate overall decision-making process thorough knowledge of the AM business, product portfolio, manufacturing processes and sites’ strategic direction. Assess risks, remove roadblocks, escalate issues, and propose solutions to senior leadership.
- Ensure that resource allocation planning is performed and that constraints within Manufacturing, NetOps, OPEX, Supply Chain and Global Engineering and other functions are resolved as required for overall program success.
- Ensure the use of Program Management Best Practices to manage overall scope, time, and budget. Drive accountability and execute programs to achieve committed milestones & deliverables.
- Continuous improvement initiatives to standardize, streamline, and accelerate programs.
- Maintain clear communication paths with all functional stakeholders and be the voice and guardian of the overall key programs within the AMVS for effective integration and execution.
- Lead and manage within the complexity of the AMVS across 5 sites aligned to common goals.
- Conforms with and abides by all country specific regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accountability with demonstrated results in leading manufacturing programs or sites.
- Track record of performance preferably in Pharma or Rubber manufacturing environment, extremely results and outcome focused within strict timelines.
- Demonstrated leadership ability at high level and tangible results demonstrated.
- Respected leadership that will galvanize teams to pursue transformation and high performance.
- Proven production/manufacturing operations leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of Operational Excellence and the benefits it brings (practitioner).
- Highly analytical with proven manufacturing site leadership experience.
- Strong track record of innovation or driving transformational projects through to completion.
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels in the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace and drive change within a mature, global matrixed function.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate people – mobilizing resources to work together with a shared sense of mission.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth or transformational environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Science/Supply Chain preferred
- Pharmaceutical/ Chemical/Food/ industry experience preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
