Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review the monthly financial accounts of subsidiaries and collaborate with regional finance team to ensure finance statement and variances are properly explained.
- Maintain full sets of accounts for investment holding companies.
- Involve in the daily operational matters including and not limiting to the verification of purchase and sale orders, review over inventory turnovers, monitoring of sales and margin, and ageing od customer receivables.
- Prepare annual budget and operational forecast.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently manage audit queries.
- Assist in the financial due diligence of M&A.
- Support C-Suite on corporate finance matters.
- Document and improve upon the existing policy and procedures and internal controls of the company.
- Mentor and review the work of junior finance staff.
Requirements:
- A degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
- Have at least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience on operation finance.
- Good communication skills.
- Hands-on and able to work within tight timelines, handle a broad portfolio, set up finance functions and implement process improvements.
- Prior working experiences with trading or distribution companies preferred.
