The Responsibilities:
You will be part of a global team of 50. This position in Singapore is an additional headcount the company has created to further support the operations in Asia, alongside the team in Americas and Europe. Your responsibility will include but not limited to:
- As a techno-functional professional on CTRM, part of the Front Office team supporting users in the region
- Examining user issues and determining their underlying causes
- Resolving issues by collaborating with different team members: IT support, IT development, or business teams
- Collaborating with users to determine their requirements, documenting specifications in an organized manner
- Conducting meetings with users to prioritize tasks and updating the backlogs
- Developing mockups and models using various tools (Excel, SQL, Power Query, Power BI/Tableau, VBA, Python, and others)
- Collaborating with IT colleagues in the region and/or vendors to support modifications Monitoring and following up on tasks with other teams in IT and the business
- Conducting tests on changes to CTRM configuration, experimenting with Excel/Power Query/BI tools to build prototypes of reports, and creating Excel tools to examine or demonstrate key features of a proposed design
- Serving as a functional "Product Owner" for the IT delivery team during development, testing, and UAT. Overseeing training and UAT as well
- Assisting with release planning and deployment
The Requirements:
- Experience working as a techno-functional professional / Business Analyst in Trading / Risk Management IT. Experience working with CTRM/ETRM or Risk Systems
- Commodities experience. Extensive knowledge of the physical / financial commodity trade lifecycle, risk reporting, and valuation
- Highly analytical and skilled in working with numbers, with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a Trading environment
- Proficient in using Excel and skilled in developing intricate Excel models
- Experience collaborating with internal IT teams
- Structured, adaptable, and able to work well independently or as part of a global team
- Confident and effective communicator with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Initiative-taker with a practical problem-solving approach and focus on timely delivery
