Engineering support
- Understanding, supporting, and applying company recommended practices.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, and practices.
- Comply with company safety requirements to ensure a personal and continuous care around the safety of anyone at site.
- Understand basics of rotating equipment in petroleum / petrochemical plants (including centrifugal pumps, reciprocating compressor, screw compressor, mixers, etc.), able to comprehend equipment drawings, such as General Arrangement Drawing, Cross Section Drawings, etc.
- Populate inputs into the Computerized Materials and Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure spares, maintenance program and BOM data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured accurately.
- Develop spare parts and inventory management strategy for critical rotating equipment (including pumps, compressors, and mixers) to ensure availability when required to minimize unplanned outages. Establish new inventory and cataloging where necessary. Update information in the inventory to ensure that it is relevant for the current operations.
- Work closely with discipline engineers and various sections to complete other relevant given tasks
- Participate actively in any meeting, discussion, and initiative by the team
- You will work closely with respective discipline engineers and team to meet project objectives.
Others
- Ensure all documentation is maintained, history is being captured, and any feedback is effectively being utilized. Be prepared for audits of this documentation.
- Contribute to the development of CMMS projects
- Contributes to the material management and preventive maintenance strategy setup and update in the CMMS system.

- Experience in CMMS is a plus (computerized maintenance management system).
Experiences, Skills and Background
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years relevant maintenance experience in refinery and petrochemical
- Some experience in analyzer equipment is an added advantage
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and CMMS (preferably SAP) data management
- Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant materials and equipment will be an added advantage.
- Experienced in maintenance work control, planning and basic reliability methodologies will be an added advantage.
- Good coordination skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, multiple disciplines environment.
- Experience in using the SAP system, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
- Able to understand engineering drawings typically used in a petroleum and petrochemical plants such as P&ID, PFD, General Arrangement Drawing and Cross Section Drawings.
