Job Description:
- Establish and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure compliance with ASME codes for designated products.
- Formulate and enhance quality programs, providing regular updates to the QA/QC manager regarding product quality.
- Create plans for inspections and testing processes, overseeing their execution diligently.
- Provide leadership to a team comprising QC inspectors and an administrative assistant.
- Participate in both internal and external audits, aligning with the company's quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) systems.
- Assist the QA/QC manager in the efficient functioning of departmental operations.
- Update and manage the QA/QC Manual to adhere to ASME codes and ISO standards.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
- Collaborate with third-party or NDE inspectors for necessary inspections.
- Ensure the accuracy and currency of equipment calibration records.
- Undertake any additional assignments delegated by the QA/QC Manager.
