The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations within a designated region, ensuring compliance, and accuracy, and managing daily accounting tasks that help the company be fully aware of its financial condition.


Job Duties, Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function
  • Respond and follow up with vendors and employees on payment-related inquiries.
  • Responsible for the monthly closing and reporting, including preparation of journal entries and maintenance of general ledger, fixed asset registers, balance sheet schedule, account reconciliation, and accurate reporting of financial matters.
  • Provide regional finance support and prepare regional reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and company accounting policies/ standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
  • Liaise with external parties on administrative and statutory matters.
  • Provide efficient support for any other ad-hoc Finance and admin duties.

Qualification and other Requirements

  • Candidate should ideally possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy / Business / Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field
  • Prior regional / multi-currency experience is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Having a positive attitude and the initiative to work well.
  • Having a team-oriented mindset.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality & discretion in all aspects.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
