Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
· Safely and efficiently transport fresh fruits and produce from our shop to various destinations, including restaurants, markets, and customer locations.
· Adhere to all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
· Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues promptly.
· Assist with loading and unloading produce, ensuring the correct quantities and quality are maintained.
· Coordinate with the shop manager to fulfill delivery schedules and handle any last-minute changes or customer requests.
· Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders promptly and professionally, maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor.
· Willingness and availability to work during the night shift on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
· Possess a valid Class 4 driver's license.
· Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar industry or food distribution environment.
· Good knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations.
· Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
· Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy boxes of produce.
· Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
· A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
