Havas Singapore is looking for a Finance Executive to support the day-to-day management of Finance operations across business units. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts Payable functions.
- Ensure vendor invoices, staff claims, and intercompany invoices are validated, and recorded timely and accurately into the system.
- Processing staff expense reimbursements and payments on time.
- Ensure that payments are recorded timely and accurate.
- Update of daily cash book and cash tracker.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Registers.
- Reconciliation of vendor’s statements of accounts and AP aging.
- Ensure timely closing of Accounts Payable and all documents and schedules are properly maintained.
- Respond and follow up with vendors and employees on payment-related inquiries.
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
- Provide support in the annual audit process.
- Assist with the vendor set-up process.
- Responsible for staff training on Accounts Payable processes.
- Identify and review of work process and changes within the scope of work.
- Assist in other tasks/ projects when assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the service/ professional industry.
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and responsible team player who can meet tight deadlines
- Problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
