Summary: As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group and Entities accounting function. This includes statutory compliance (Audit, Tax, etc.) and reporting to upper management. You will also handle ad hoc projects involving business expansion and accounting system maintenance.
Reports to: CFO
Role and Responsibilities:
- Drives the preparation of group financial statements as well as entity financial statements of the companies within the group in accordance with IFRS and SFRS.
- Liaises with the Group Auditor on audit issues and their resolutions. Update the Audit Committee on the progress of resolution of each.
- Prepares tax schedules and review income tax computation.
- Compiles and submits periodic management reports.
- Prepares annual budget/quarterly forecast and coordinates with different departments.
- Bookkeeping.
- SAP and BPC Accounting System Maintenance.
- Lead/Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Oversees the Group’s manpower and administrative expenses.
- Oversees the Group’s agency business.
- Provides assistance to sister companies when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or similar specialization from a recognized university.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in managing a team.
- Audit experience is a must. Accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
