OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The role is responsible for supporting warehousing operations at both client-operated warehouse and Geodis-operated warehouse, including but not limited to cargo handling, forklift handling, pick and pack etc.
DIMENSION AND QUANTITIES
- As per duties will be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Verifying receiving and issuing paperwork for accuracy in accordance with established procedures
- Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area. Comply with all HSE policies and procedures
- To perform part preservations on semi-finish material to prevent dents, dings and rust
- Perform the assigned logistics work e.g., cargo reception, inspection, pick & pack, inventory control, etc, by SOP / Instruction given / etc.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties as required by SOP/instruction/etc.
- Proactively participate in the Business Excellence Program of the company.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Forklift License/Certification if applicable
- Warehouse location: East & West
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- 1 year of working experience or more in the logistics industry required
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
- Forklift License
- Effective communication
