Job Responsibilities
- Proactive in securing and managing event sales to achieve monthly sales objectives.
- Proactive in reaching out to enquiring / existing clients.
- Proactive in finding new clients.
- Responsible for creating and selling event packages relevant to each brand’s location and identity.
- Engaged in event execution, ensuring a smooth, unique and personalised guest experience.
- Attend to all event enquiries with great customer service to ensure the successful conversion to orders.
- Preparation of all event orders and on-site event materials.
- Preparation of event budgets and sales targets.
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with respective department heads and supervise staff as necessary.
- Ensure smooth delivery/execution of all events and step up to resolve any problems that may occur.
- Analyze event’s success and prepare reports to Management.
- Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and excellent guest experience.
- To participate in developing promotions, action plans and marketing strategy with the team.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all teams in operations to facilitate events and ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Credit management of sales accounts and assist to oversee any sales and events administration.
Skills & Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven sales and events experience in hotel, restaurants, events or catering services.
- The 3 “R”s: Responsible, Resourceful & Reliable.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and excellent attention to details.
- Team player, able to work under tight deadlines and in a fact paced working environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Great marketing skills and experience a plus.
