Job Description

Curriculum and Policies Implementation


- Work closely with the Deputy Head (Academic matters), Deputy Head (Graduate Studies), Programme Directors and Dean’s Office in preparing proposals for curriculum changes.

- Lead the implementation of revamped curricula, and new initiatives, which include but are not limited to coordinating the timetable, allocation of modules to students to ensure optimal learning and updating the relevant materials (e.g. webpage, NUS bulletin).

Academic Programme Management (Coursework and Research Programmes)
- Provide programme-related advisory

- Programme administration throughout the student lifecycle (leave of absence, withdrawal, dismissal, appeal, academic offence, fee waiver)

- Process financial aids (scholarships, bursaries, awards, study and travel grants)

- Coordinate pre-exam preparation and post-exam processing (including marks checking and processing, checking of reports, exam result appeals, special consideration, academic awards and graduation matters) and BOE meeting

- Follow up on overdue tuition fees

- Any other administrative duties as assigned

Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of 2 Assistant Managers and MAOs in the administration of the
academic programmes throughout the student lifecycle.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- More than 5 years of academic programme management experience; preferably as programme manager and partnership development in the higher education sector
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player, able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
