Job Description
- Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers and network hardware
- Create and modify bash scripts or applications to automate tasks.
- Servers and network devices hardening and periodic review.
- Providing advice on useful methods to improve security, stability, scalability, and efficiency of the Linux infrastructure and environment.
- To do all the supporting tasks that are included, but not limited to code deployment, managing software versioning and revision control system, virtual servers, scripting, etc.
- Required to provide 24 hours standby on a weekly rotational basis.
Job Requirements
- Minimally a Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or any other related fields.
- Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for 2-3 years.
- In depth knowledge of Linux: Debian.
- Experience with Linux high availability configurations, shell or Python scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Additional Cisco, Linux or AWS certifications will be considered an advantage.
