ADMINISTRATIVE / EXECUTIVE OFFICER


Job Overview

To support ABS strategic initiatives on the Standards and Regulation interests of the banking industry as well as maintain a good standing with regulators and members of ABS. Assist in development and implementation of key strategic initiatives and projects in consultation with senior management, the member banks and MAS that will benefit the financial sector in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities

The Administrative/ Executive Officer will support the Manager(s) of the ABS Project team in managing the industry projects. Key responsibilities include:

· Co-ordinate Monthly Steering Committee materials and consolidate minutes feedback

· Provide secretariat support to industry and project meetings (including minutes writing)

· Supporting Manager(s) to evaluate and recommend solutions and agreements proposed by vendors and partners

· Consolidate project updates from project workgroups and workstreams

· Assist the Manager(s) in providing timely reviews and reports for senior management on project status, issues and escalations and recommend solutions

· Publish Project Updates on a regular basis

· Assist the Manager(s) in preparing analysis of projects and reports, dashboards and presentation materials across all levels of stakeholders

· Track and follow up with Workgroup/workstream members on outstanding actions

· Collate and perform evaluation / analysis on responses received from banks / stakeholders

· Produce weekly/monthly statistics, and respond to queries

· Project documentation management

· Arrange for project billings / invoice checking and co-ordination with Banks/vendor representatives

· Manage project budget and timeline effectively

· Attend to project meetings and other administration matters

· Assist in other ad-hoc duties


Qualifications

· Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or other related areas.

· Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience.

· Self-driven and a quick learner.

· Willingness to work on a Saturday for public and campus campaign.

· Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products especially Excel and PowerPoint.

· Analytical and ability to take disparate information and correlate data for purpose of decision making.

· Strong communication skills - oral, written and presentation.

· Good understanding of project management disciplines and tools.
