Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
2. Responsible for creation or innovation of partial or entire product development, which includes conceptualization, design and development of new products types in Aromatherapy, Skin Care and aromatherapy gift products. This includes concept and drawing creation from products including packaging to the marketing Point of Sales material for our retail use.
3. To research, conceptual, develop and produce new ranges of aromatherapy Products such as Burners, diffusers and skincare Packaging to meet market demand within the stipulated timeline.
4. To work on projects that require modifying and enhancing our current range of products.
5. Producing designs and prototypes which translate into successful productions.
6. Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas.
7. Before converting the design to finished products, to evaluate and conduct simple surveys.
8. Amend final designs to management’s comments and gain full approval.
9. Liaising with both local and overseas’ raw material factories to ensure that the prototype meets the approval design requirement.
10. Work closely with marketing team to design and create suitable creative props for display and visual merchandising.
11. Develop and copywrite marketing communication materials such as Point-of-Sales material, social engagement articles, etc.
12. Visit retail outlets to perform visual merchandising implementations/ checks/ site measurement.
13. Manage company’s on-line social media presences and communication (eg. Facebook, Instragram).
14. Assisting digital marketer on the building brand awareness through social media.
15. Creating marketing content (Article, video and content).
16. Any other jobs as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma holders in Product Design / Graphic Design or related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years related working experience.
- Loves Drawing and Hand-drawn Illustration
- Ability to express creativity and develop concepts with excellent free hand drawing.
- Good knowledge of design as well as construction concepts.
- Good knowledge in design software packages such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash or other design software.
- Experience in art directing photo and video shoot.
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
- Competent in handling high volume of work while maintaining accuracy in a fast-pace environment.
- Ability to multi-task, processing excellent work attitude with sense of urgency to produce quality work in a fast pace environment, under minimal supervisor.
- Excellent in time and design cost management.
