RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Business Analyst acts as a liaison between Mediacorp users (staff and management) and the various Enterprise IT applications that they interface with regularly. Provide an analysis of users’ business needs and work with developers to design effective, simple, and creative automation solutions within project constraints. Work together with the business transformation function to ensure that IT initiatives align with and help drive Mediacorp business units’ strategic plan, and the strategic plan for the organisation as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand organizational and operational challenges Keep up to date on the latest applications of information technology, especially on TEAMS and AI
- Implement new IT operations into the company, from the initial idea to the project completion
- Manage technical difficulties, working with developers when necessary
- Take leadership on the opportunity pursuits, communication and planning with contacts
- Develop long-term relationships with the contacts
- Must be someone who can identify and develop viable and competitive value propositions that differentiate us
- Work together with the teams responsible for business process transformation and delivery to ensure the timely completion of strategic projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to completion
- Good written and Verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable addressing C-suite executives as well as coordinating at various levels of the business
- Ability to understand the team’s challenges and develop solutions
- Be familiar with various types of project management and business analysis software, such as, SAP, Microsoft Project, Visio
- Having knowledge of the local culture and preferably experience in media business operations
