Architectural Designer

  • Duties may include the development and implementation of project design concepts, project modelling, developing sketches, conducting research and data collection, preparing presentations and reports, and general production of design and construction documents
  • Works on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks within established deadlines and budgets and effectively utilizing resources to address project requirements
  • Interacts with clients and consultants, participates on project development, and presents ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Prepares, manages and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details, as directed by others in the project team, following standards and archiving documents as appropriate
  • Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards
  • May assist in the development of project scope, plans, and services during the contract process
  • Prepares 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings and renderings
  • Compiles data and performs fundamental design computations
  • Performs product research and may assist Project Architects with materials selection and system research

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Architecture or related majors
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience with large scale design consultancies and/or client side representative;
  • Experienced in conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation
  • Experienced in infrastructure type of projects is a plus;
  • Familiar with government approval procedures and associated submission requirements is a plus;
  • Experienced in design competition and familiar with related bidding procedures and requirements;
  • Proficient in design software such as, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, PKPM, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. and management software such as Microsoft Office and Project, Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work well with a team local and abroad;
  • Highly organized and responsive.
