The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer II. The RE II will carry out research project for industrial robot controller and applications with open source environment ROS2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing ROS2 controller application & AI software for industrial requirements.
- Responsible for promotion to and coordination with industry partners both locally and internationally
- Assisting the team for robot system integration with ROS2 controller
Job Requirements:
- Master in Robotics from Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering
- Familiar with industrial manipulator modeling, control, or AI techniques for robotics
- Good hands-on experience on industrial robot programming
- Familiar with C/C++, ROS, Linux OS, Windows OS, and other similar libraries and software tools
- Good robot system integration experiences
