Job Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Inspired Meetings Assistant Operations Manager.
- Ensure that the meetings are well-planned and results-oriented.
- Conduct frequent and thorough inspection of Magnifique Meetings area.
- Ensure that the Operational Budget from the department is strictly adhered to.
- Monitor the ambassadors and ensure that they adhere to the Sofitel operating standards as well as the service culture.
- Able to deal tactfully deal with guest.
- Assist the Inspired Meetings Operations Manager and Assistant Manager with the yearly.
- Organize Inspired Meetings team monthly meeting.
- Participate in the set-up of meeting rooms and assist in the up-keeping of the brand standard.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience.
- Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
- Desire and ability to train and develop staff.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends in service, product and presentation.
- Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
- Organises time and work efficiently.
- Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
- Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
- Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
