Basic Function:
- Supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of the Branch Accounting Unit;
- Maintains complete and accurate accounting records;
- Monitors limits and requirements prescribed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS);
- Liaise with the Branch external auditors/Head Office Accounting Group on the filing and publication of year-end financial statements with MAS, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore;
- Prepares the Branch's annual operating and capital expenditure budget, in consultation with General Manager and other officers;
- Ensures timely submission of daily/periodic reports to MAS, Head Office and Group Head;
- Eliminates and monitors resolution of temporary accounts such as Account Receivable, Accounts
Payable; - Ensures the immediate resolution of float items reflected in the Branch’s books and
those contained in the reconcilement report for inter-office and foreign correspondent
accounts; - Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- Minimum 3 years relevant banking experience.
