An integral part of Singapore’s “City in a Garden” vision, Gardens by the Bay spans a total of 101 hectares of prime land at the heart of Singapore’s new downtown – Marina Bay. RESPONSIBILITIES
Gardens by the Bay comprises 3 Gardens - Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. The Bay East Project Office is set up for the planning and development of Bay East (BE), the focal point of which is the Founders' Memorial (FM).
As part of a multi-disciplinary Bay East project team, you will be project managing the development works of the Bay East Garden and the surrounding infrastructure in support of the Founders’ Memorial and Bay East project.
You will be responsible for fronting the project management and planning issues including liaison and resolving issues amongst agencies and stakeholders to the projects. This includes working with the relevant authorities on land development and coordination of BE development with the FM and surrounding infrastructural works for seamless integration and ensuring proper interfacing of all construction contract packages.
Your role involves project management and working with various stakeholders to incorporate their operational and business requirements into the project. You will also ensure proper project documentation throughout the execution and closing out phases, and work with consultants for timely delivery of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or other relevant field of study from a recognised university
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in large scale / complex development projects in the public sector, with hands-on project management
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
